For those who would like something a little different from the big designer ranges, we have a large variety of individual and distinctive glasses that are at the cutting edge of current fashion but without the designer price tag. In fact, we pride ourselves on offering daring designs that you will never find in any of the High Street Multiples.
We also cater for those on a tighter budget or who just want a cheap second pair of glasses by offering an ‘all inclusive' range that gives outstanding value for money. We will even give you a 50% discount off a second pair of glasses, as long as they are the same prescription as your first pair and you buy the within a month of the first pair. (Cheaper pair discounted). This is a great way to make sure you have a backup pair of glasses. Extremely useful in the UK and essential if driving on the continent.
A lot of our frames are guaranteed for at least 2 years and we offer a comprehensive aftercare service to make sure that your new spectacles continue to provide you with clear and comfortable vision over their lifetime.
Helping You to Choose the Glasses that Suit You
Many of our clients find that choosing their new glasses is the most stressful part of their optical experience. One of the problems is that without your own spectacles on, you can't see what the new ones are going to look like!
Here at The Young Clinic we aim to make this a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Mary, the dispensing assistant and her colleagues are all well trained and extremely experienced, and will steer you in the right direction, whilst gently suggesting when a particular design is not flattering! To make it even easier one of our optometrists will be happy to temporarily insert a pair of contact lenses so that you can see yourself more easily in the mirror.
We have also invested in an iPad2 with a dispensing assistant app which will take a picture of you trying on the new frames. These images can be shared with your friends on Facebook if you would like a second opinion.
